Wilmington (Calif.) Banning offensive tackle Emmanuel Beavers is staying in-state to play his college football.

"I'm committed to San Diego State," said Beavers.

Beavers, a 6-6, 290-pounder, starred at the Aztecs camp this summer, and landed an offer from them during the summer, but waited to commit.

Also offering Beavers was Kansas, and he was also hearing from Nebraska, Georgia, Hawaii and UCLA.

An all-league pick in 2009, he was the Lineman MVP last season. This year, Banning is 1-4.
